Welcome, my name is Brett Rainbow from Tomorrows Stars Basketball Program. I'd like to introduce myself as the
basketball coach that runs the Morris Hall Basketball Program at Melbourne Girls Grammar. I have been involved
with the school for the last 5 years coaching teams and girls individually. It has been a great success for both
the school and students and has really shown the potential of what the children can achieve when they really want
to accomplish something. Currently I manage 3 teams playing through the school which involves 1 training session
and 1 game per week for each term. We also offer just a 1hr training session each week for children to get involved
and to work on staying active and fit. As of 2010 my basketball program at Melbourne Girls Grammar will be available
to all grades and skill levels Prep-Grade 6.
Individual and group training is an effective means through which a player can improve. One on One Basketball has
helped thousands of players at all levels improve their game through individual and small group training sessions.
We will work closely with each player, parent to develop and implement this training program that provides tangible
results. Players can work alone or with school friends. Ball handling, shooting, rebounding, footwork, passing,
defensive and offensive are some of the elements of focus during these sessions.
In 2010 there will be an addition to my program:
The inclusion of a 'Create your own Team' option whereby the players can
get together and form their own team, team name and uniform.
1. Training Only: These sessions last for one hour and will be conducted at the school. They are a great way for children to get involved and work on their fitness,
hand eye coordination, be part of a team and create friendships.
2. Training & Games: Included here is the one hour training session conducted at the school plus weekly games played at MSAC Stadium, Albert Park. A weekly commitment
is required by all players and is suitable for beginners through to advanced players.
3. Create own Team: Get creative with a group of your classmates and/or friends, come up with a name and uniform for your team. Training and games as per option 2.
Min 7 - max 10 players.
Your children will experience the most intense, fun, invigorating basketball training/games with Tomorrows Stars Basketball Programs. It’s all designed to bring out the best
in children: increased respect for sportsmanship, develop strong physical athletic abilities, and a deeper understanding of teamwork with emphasis on lifelong skills such as
values, self-esteem, goal setting and making good responsible choices.
For any enquiries regarding my program please contact me or fill out details on the registration form for 2010 including payment and send to my PO Box.
Kindest regards
